03/02/2008

The river is currently at a very high level as it has been for the past few weeks. The high water level will have allowed most of the kelts to drop back however there are still a large number of kelts in the system. Please remember it is illegal to kill kelts and they should be returned safely to the water.

2005 Review

Trinity Gask Fishing in common with most of the other beats on the River Earn had a reasonable year although that main run didn't come in until after the season had unfortunately closed. it was very pleasing to see such large numbers of fish in the river during November and December surely a sign that things are on an upward trend.  The 2005 catch returns were down on last year's tremendous season although above the 5 year average.
